Our Mission
Give Me Shelter California is a minority woman-owned 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to restoring dignity, improving well-being, and creating pathways to stability for individuals and families experiencing homelessness throughout California and Southern Nevada.
We believe meeting basic needs is the first step toward rebuilding lives. A hot shower, clean clothing, hygiene supplies, food, document assistance, or a reliable mailing address can restore dignity, strengthen connections, and remind someone they are not forgotten.

Our vision is a community where homelessness does not define a person’s future and everyone has access to basic needs, essential resources, and support. We envision communities working together to ensure no one is forgotten and every person has an opportunity to regain dignity, stay connected, and move toward a more stable tomorrow.

Through mobile showers, food, clothing, hygiene supplies, document assistance, mailing addresses, and resource connections, we help restore dignity, strengthen stability, and create pathways toward shelter, housing, and a better future.
Our Story
How We Got Started
Give Me Shelter California began with a simple question: What if we brought help directly to the people who need it most?
We recognized that for many people experiencing homelessness, accessing basic necessities and community resources can be difficult. A shower, clean clothing, hygiene supplies, food, identification, or help finding housing can make a meaningful difference—but only when those resources are accessible.
That is where our vision began.
We created Give Me Shelter California to bring essential services directly to people and communities too often overlooked. Our purpose is to meet people where they are, listen without judgment, restore dignity, and connect them with the resources they need to take their next step forward.
Today, that vision continues to grow throughout California and Southern Nevada through mobile showers, hygiene kits, clothing, food, essential supplies, document preparation, mailing address services, resource navigation, and community partnerships.
What began with a heart to help has become a passionate commitment to finding those in need, reaching the places others may not, and bringing hope where it matters most—one person, one community, and one act of kindness at a time.
Where We Are Now
Today, Give Me Shelter California is growing into a mobile outreach organization serving people experiencing homelessness throughout California and Southern Nevada.
Through Bringing Hope Mobile, we provide hygiene kits, clothing, food, essential supplies, document assistance, mailing addresses, and connections to local resources. While we work toward obtaining our own mobile shower unit, we help connect individuals with available free shower resources in their communities.
We are building partnerships with shelters, housing providers, healthcare organizations, businesses, volunteers, and community groups to help people move beyond immediate needs toward housing, stability, and hope.
We are growing our outreach, volunteers, and partnerships so we can reach more people in the communities that need us most.
We know there is work ahead, but we are ready for the challenge and committed to showing up, reaching out, and bringing hope where it is needed most.
