BRINGING HOPE BACK HOME
Give Me Shelter California is a minority woman-owned 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to restoring dignity, improving health, and creating pathways to stability for individuals and families experiencing homelessness throughout California and Nevada.
Founded on the belief that every person deserves compassion, respect, and the opportunity to rebuild their life, our organization delivers free mobile shower and hygiene services while connecting those we serve with temporary and permanent housing resources, employment opportunities, case management, healthcare referrals, veteran services, mental health support, and other essential community programs.
We understand that something as simple as access to a hot shower, clean clothing, and personal hygiene can restore confidence, improve physical and mental well-being, and remove barriers to employment, housing, and healthcare. By meeting immediate needs first, we help individuals take meaningful steps toward long-term self-sufficiency and independence.
Our work is made possible through partnerships with local governments, businesses, shelters, faith-based organizations, healthcare providers, volunteers, and community agencies that share our commitment to ending homelessness through collaboration rather than isolation. Together, we create coordinated solutions that address both urgent needs and the underlying challenges that contribute to housing instability.
As a minority woman-owned nonprofit, Give Me Shelter California is dedicated to serving every individual with dignity, equity, and respect regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender, veteran status, or background. We believe that lasting change happens when communities come together to provide not only essential services, but also hope, opportunity, and a sense of belonging.
